International harpist Robin Ward will be performing at Holy Trinity Church in Leverstock Green on Saturday night as part of his 2013 concert series.
His planned programme is an exploration of music, played on his own handcrafted triple harp, and insiders say that his talent, combined with his engaging and informative performance approach, is a treat not to be missed.
The programme includes music from folk traditions, the baroque, classical, and romantic periods, with a combination of his own transcriptions and music originally written for the instrument.
The concert starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 for adults, £8 concessions, and a donation for children aged under 18.

Strings are also to the fore at Tring’s Victoria Hall on the evening of Sunday, September 29 when the Oxford Fiddle Group will be performing in aid of the Northchurch-based Hospice Of St Francis.
A similar show last year was a sellout success, and fans who are in their seats for a 7.30pm start are promised not just violins but double bass, Celtic harp, guitar, mandolin, viola, cello, and concertina – not to mention side singers, tap dancing and plenty of humour.
On the programme will be a selection of tunes and songs from the well-established group’s wide repertoire, with material from England, Scotland, Ireland and the USA. Learn more about the group at www.oxfordfiddle.co.uk
Tickets are available at £10 and are available either by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 01296 631791.
