DIRECT from sell-out shows at the Sydney and Melbourne Comedy Festivals and storming sets on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Stand Up For The Week and One Night Stand, the inimitable Australian comic and former heavy metal drummer Steve Hughes embarks on his eagerly-awaited debut tour.

Steve is a comedian and musician – his musical career beginning in the 1980s when he was involved in the Australian Thrash Metal scene and formed the group Slaughter Lord, and his comedy career kicking off in the mid 1990s at an open mike night at the Sydney Comedy Store.

Steve managed to combine both in the late 1990s when he became a host for MTV Australia.

He moved to the UK in 2002 to embark on the UK stand up circuit.

Expect intelligent, straight-talking social commentary from an original and thought-provoking performer.

Steve Hughes will appear at the Old Town Hall Theatre, Hemel Hempstead on Friday, October 5 at 8pm.
