Gade Valley Harriers travelled to Gladstone Park in London at the weekend for their latest dose of Parkrun action.
Vince Ellerby led the team home in a time of 19 minutes and 44 seconds, securing third place overall.
He was closely followed by Johnny Broom in sixth place in a time of 20m 15s, while Martin Storrie celebrated his birthday by coming in 15th place overall and second in his age category in 22m 39s.
Also showing their grit this weekend were Dave Wise and Steve Newing who completed the Milton Keynes Half Marathon.
The course attracted 622 runners and was 13.1 miles of undulating paths around the canals and lakes. Wise narrowly pipped Newing to the finish line in 1hr 38m 19s, Newing right behind him in 1m 38m 49s.
In Welwyn Garden City, Mikey Ferris put in huge effort to finish 13th in the Festive Five race – a five-mile dash starting from Gosling Stadium.
Ferris clocked a superb time of 30m 42s, ahead of Joanna Kidd who completed the course in 46m 56s.
