“The club offers a wide range of playing opportunities,” said club captain Alun March

“We have BDA-qualified coaches available to provide basic and more advanced training depending on what people want.

“You can just come along to play for fun or take part in internal competitions only.

“For the more competitive, both the ladies and men have a team in the West Herts League, the club plays in the Dacorum Shield and we are developing a junior section with the hope of entering youth teams in local and county leagues, too.”

Little Gaddesden is the only club in the area where you pay one membership to play both bowls and croquet.

Friendly bowls sessions take place on Mondays from 10am to noon and on Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm. Croquet starter sessions are all day on Sunday, starting at 10am.
