Hemel Hempstead Camelot Rugby Club will re-introduce a Colts team for next season as they look to build solid foundations for the future.

The club is going through many positive changes, with one of the most exciting being the return of the Colts.

A combination of the returning U18 side and existing U17 side has seen the numbers rise, and newly appointed head coach Brendan Hope is confident the club will have a healthy squad for the season ahead.

Hope is a South African-born level 2 qualified coach who has dedicated his time to the Colts with the aim of making it a hugely successful section of the club.

The Colts also have strong backing in the form of a talented backs coach, Daniel Coe, a caring team manager in Nick Wilson and the club’s fitness guru, Dean Clarke of Wild Training.

The club is committed to investing a generous amount of money into the development of the Colts.

One of their main aims this season is to welcome new players, who would like to give rugby a try.

The introduction of a pre-season, unisex U17/18 touch tournament, on the eve of the Rugby World Cup, should go a long way in finding talented players from the local area.

The tournament is open to any player, born between September 1, 1997 and August 31, 1999 and will take place at Hemel Hempstead Rugby Club on September 9, 2015.
