It was a family affair at Little Hay Golf Club as Nick Pinnock saw off the challenge of his dad Steve to win the Annual Club Championship.
Nick’s win saw him lift the trophy for the fourth year in a row, and he saw off Steve by eight shots to claim the title.
It was a remarkable win by Nick, who was playing for the first time in three months after being kept off the course through illness.
The championship consisted of two par-72 rounds of 18 holes, played without any handicap allowances on consecutive days.
In the first round, Nick shot a one-over-par 73 to lead the field by six strokes.
Steve lay second on 79, with Nick Jefferson, Andy Sexton and Ben Hopkinson tied in third place on 86.
In the second round, Nick Jefferson shot a fighting score of 80, ahead of Steve Pinnock on 81.
But Nick Pinnock held his nerve and shot a gross 79 to secure the championship.
The Tony Hodson Trophy for the best net score was won by Steve Sibbit (144) on countback from Nick Pinnock (144).
Third place wet to Phil Jefferson (148) on countback from Andy Sexton (148).
