Little Hay Golf Complex in Bovingdon is gearing up for an open day in partnership with Little Hay Golf Club to showcase its facilities and activities, and to encourage more local people to get involved in the sport.
Little Hay prides itself on being a golf course that is open to everyone on a pay and play basis. No golf handicap is required and there is no requirement to join a club.
The complex will open its doors from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, with a wide range of activities for the whole family to try out.
The six-hole course will be free to play all day, so visitors can enjoy a round of pitch and putt or a game of FootGolf – one of the UK’s fastest growing sports.
Beginners who fancy trying the driving range will be handed 10 free balls, while an 18-hole round on the course will only be £12 per person.
For those who are interested in playing golf regularly, there will also be the chance at the open day to buy a yearly ticket for the course – guaranteeing 12 months of golf for the price of 10 months.
For anyone wishing to develop their game, obtain a handicap and have the opportunity to play in competitions, members from the successful and established Little Hay Golf Club will be on hand at the open day to provide information about the club’s activities and how to join it.
There will be a special deal on the membership price, in addition to friendly help and advice.
