Nick Jefferson was crowned Little Hay Club Champion 2015 at the weekend as he scored an excellent 153 over the two rounds of play.
The Men’s Championship is a Medal Competition, played over two round off the championship blue tees.
In addition, Steve Wilkinson was crowned the Club Nett Champion 2015 with a score of nett 140.
The second and third best gross scores were Matt Armstrong (154) and Steve Wilkinson (156), while Armstrong also had the second best nett score (142) ahead of Craig Walker and Paul Mudd (145).
In the Senior Men’s August Medal on Thursday, John Redgwell took first prize in Division One with nett 67 and also had the lowest gross score.
Tony Grainger was second with nett 86, and seniors’ captain Trevor V Sargent was third with nett 69.
Tony McGuiness won Division Two with an excellent nett 60; Kim Walker was second with nett 69 and in third place was Mike Mason with nett 70.
Harry Miller won the Junior Stableford on Wednesday with 39 points on count-back, with Craig Walker in second place also with 39 points.
Linda Reeve won the Ladies’ Medal with nett 69. In second place was Jacky Pearson with nett 71 on countback ahead of third placed Jackie Joslyn.
A putting competition was run alongside the Medal and this was won by Carol Kent (30 putts), closely followed by Caroline Banks (31).
