“We have been on the lookout for a quality half-back for a while now and it is great to have a player with some Super League first team experience join our squad.

“He is still young but has come though a good system at Catalan Dragons and he would have learnt a lot from his coaches Trent Robinson and Steve Deakin.

“I played at UTC (Union Treiziste Catalane) just before they went into Super League as Catalan Dragons and I still have plenty of friends down in Perpignan and this I how I was told about Remy wanting the opportunity to play in England.

“I have watched a fair bit of footage of Remy and have been impressed with what I have seen.

“He has a good kicking game, is pretty lively and a real handful when he takes the line on.

“I am looking forward to working with him in pre-season.”

Marginet,23, is the sixth player to have signed for Stags over the past few weeks, joining James Howitt, Kazeem Faturoti, Guy Aldam, Ash Fyson and Ben Kavanagh on the books for next season.
