Camelot U10s get their revenge on old foes Chesham

The Camelot U10s continued their development on a bitterly cold morning at Chaulden Lane when they entertained Chesham Stags in a return of last month’s fixture.

Five weeks ago the Camelot side travelled to Chesham with barely enough players to field the two required sides. They put up a tremendous battle, but came away with a series of narrow defeats and one victory.

Fast forward five weeks and the young Camelot boys turned the tables on their near neighbours with three wins, two draws and one defeat – scoring 13 tries to Chesham’s 10 across six evenly contested matches.

Recent new recruits meant that Camelot were even able to have three substitutes available across the two teams to help rest players and cover injuries. Luton are the visitors to Chaulden Lane at the weekend as the team prepares for its annual weekend at the Bournemouth Festival in April.

The squad is still on the lookout for new recruits – email head coach Dave Martin at
