Barnet bashed by Camelot juniors at Chaulden Lane

The Camelot U10s continued their preparation for the Saracens Cup in a fortnight’s time as they welcomed Barnet Elizabethans to Chaulden Lane.

Barnet took two eight-a-side teams to Hemel to take on the two Camelot sides in 12-minute games.

All matches were tight affairs with some tough tackling, solid rucking and strong mauling, but it was Camelot who came out on top.

The hosts won five of the eight matches, running in 21 tries to the visitors’ 13.

The new-look team has one more friendly fixture, on Sunday at Chesham, before heading to Saracens to take part in the Saracens Cup at the Allianz Park stadium.

The squad is still on the lookout for new recruits to join, and anybody interested in taking part should contact head coach Dave Martin at
