Kings Langley Cricket Club will honour the memory of club legend Dave Percy by hosting the first annual memorial match in his name.
Dave tragically passed away while playing for the club on May 3 last year, and they will host a celebration of his life almost exactly a year on.
Dave died aged just 50 having represented Kings Langley CC for more than 40 years, with his finest cricketing day coming in 1984 when he took all 10 wickets in against Langleybury.
The Dave Percy XI will take on a Local Club XI on the May 4 bank holiday, with all profits going towards the British Heart Foundation.
There will be plenty of activities taking place on the day, with the action starting at noon on The Common in Kings Langley.
