Sportivate is a national scheme organised by Sport England aimed at encouraging more 11 to 25-year-olds to participate in sport.

It is funded by the National Lottery, with £56 million being invested as part of the London 2012 Legacy plans for the country.

It is now halfway through the fourth year of funding and Sportspace still have some money to allocate to worthwhile projects in Dacorum in 2014/15.

The organisation is looking for enthusiastic clubs and organisations to run short courses in a sport of their choice to encourage young people to get involved in an activity they haven’t tried before.
