Kings Langley picked up two thumping wins in as many nights as they made light work of their end-of-season fixture pile-up.
The Kings have battled through a week of almost constant football, but they showed no ill-effects as they thumped Wodson Park 7-2 before bagging a 3-0 win at Welwyn Garden City.
Jimmy Armstrong was the hero against Wodson Park, with the striker helping himself to four goals and three assists in an excellent display.
Adam Hallissey was also on target, bagging a quick-fire first half brace, with Joe Gallagher completing the scoring for the goal-hungry Kings.
Clearly buoyed by their emphatic win 24 hours previously, Kings were quick out of the blocks again against Welwyn Garden City on Tuesday night.
Jack Johnson saw a second minute goal disallowed, but Kings were soon in front when Gallagher slotted home from the penalty spot.
With Kings looking comfortable in possession, they doubled their lead on the half-hour mark when wing-back Tom Carter sent Craig Lynskey away on the left and his cross was turned in by the alert Hallissey.
And it was the hard-working Lynskey who had the last word, latching on to a pin-point Gallagher pass to wrap up the win a minute from time.
