Leverstock Green Ladies bowed out of the FA Cup in the first round as a strong QPR Ladies side bagged a 5-0 win at Pancake Lane.
Hot-shot striker Stacey Sowden helped herself to four goals for QPR, but Levy can be proud of their efforts against a confident Rangers side who currently sit at the top of the South East Women’s Combination League table.
The visitors raced into a 2-0 lead as Sowden struck twice in the first eight minutes, before Leanne Mabey put her side three-up after 22 minutes.
Giselle Subryan and Nicola Hollick both came close for Green, but a third goal from Sowden gave Rangers a commanding 4-0 lead at half-time.
Despite the deficit, Levy continued to battle hard, and restricted their visitors to just one further goal after the break as Sowden made it 5-0 with her fourth of the afternoon.
