Leverstock Green continued their resurgence under new manager Dene Gardner as they battled back from behind to win 3-1 at Biggleswade United.
Shakir Agada bagged a brace and Stewart King was also on target as Green made it four games unbeaten under Gardner and moved six points clear of the SSML Premier Division relegation zone.
The only real action of the first half saw Biggleswade hit the post with a header three minutes before the break as the sides went in goalless with Leverstock having defended well in difficult conditions.
The deadlock was broken by Biggleswade in the 52nd minute as Jude Eboji lifted the ball over Levy keeper Kieron Jimmy, and Gardner responded with a double substitution 10 minutes later – bringing on Tunde Owolabi and Stewart King.
Within eight minutes of the change the game had turned around completely as King bagged the equaliser just a minute after his introduction, before Agada struck a quick-fire double.
The striker came in to slot home with a first time shot for a 2-1 lead, before stabbing the ball into an empty net for a third goal just in six minutes.
Next up for Leverstock is a trip to Stotfold on Saturday, 3pm kick-off.
