Kings Langley got back to winning ways at they ran out comfortable winners over Wodson Park.

Kings took a 2-0 lead into half-time courtesy of goals from Sam Warrell and Jimmy Armstrong, before Dan Ferriono halved the deficit for Park on the hour mark.

The visitors pressed for a leveller, but Kings held firm and Armstrong completed his hat-trick to secure the win.

An early chance for Park’s Courtney Clay was blocked by Kings keeper Ross Hampton, before Joe Gallagher put three good chances narrowly wide at the other end.

Ferriono came close for the visitors, but the Kings pressure was rewarded when Warrell’s low drive from outside the area gave them the lead, before Armstrong latched on to a Gallagher through-ball to round the keeper and make it 2-0.

Park responded well after the break and Ferriono pulled one back, but ten minutes later Ben Bailey was sent off for bringing down Armstrong, and the hitman converted the penalty.

Armstrong completed his hat-trick eight minutes from time to make sure of the three points.
