Watford Ladies FC have secured a deal that will see McGinley Support Services take over as their main club sponsor for the 2013/2014 season.
With the Golden Girls set to enter the FA Women’s Super League in March 2014, the McGinley Support Services logo will be printed across the front of the first team, reserves and development team kits.
McGinley Support Services is one of the UK’s largest specialist recruitment businesses, providing the infrastructure sector with permanent, contract and temporary staff at all levels.
The company is furthering its relationship with Watford Ladies FC, having previously sponsored players and organised the printing of the club’s matchday programme.
McGinley Support Services marketing manager Janet Hector said: “As a company we can see the synergy between McGinley and Watford Ladies FC.
“We are proud of the teamwork ethic that runs throughout the business as well as the willingness to nurture and train young people coming into our industry.”
“That is exactly what we see in Watford Ladies – great teamwork and a culture of developing new players. We are very excited to see how the ladies and girls will do this season and in the new WSL2.’’
Watford Ladies FC girls’ and women’s development manager John Salomon added: “This is a significant deal for us and we are absolutely delighted that McGinley Support Services, a company who we have worked with for a couple of years now, are linking up with us as our sponsor.
“One of the biggest challenges girls’ and women’s football faces is bringing in commercial revenue to sustain and grow the sport. Securing the support of McGinley Support Services five months ahead of our WSL season kicking off will really help with the future development of our club.
