YOU can view the plans for new homes that scores of neighbours are opposing when the planning inspector comes to town today.

Developers want to put six new houses with 14 extra car parking spaces on the grounds of derelict home The Grey House in Kitsbury Road, Berkhamsted.

In November Dacorum Borough councillors rejected the plans against the advice of their officers after more than 40 people objected to the plans.

Developers took the issue to the planning inspectorate, and The Grey House Association was set up to fight the development.

Spokesman Helen Jewell said: “It’s in the conservation area, very large and parking will be an issue.”

Black Lab Developments say they worked extensively with planning officers to draw up plans.

The planning inspector will be at Berkhamsted Town Hall in High Street from 10am on Wednesday, March 13 to hear representations from all parties.
