THAT’S just one of the fun things planned for the Hemel Hempstead Fire Station open day.
The Queensway event is free and lasts from 11am to 3pm on Saturday. There will be demos of how to put out a chip pan fire and rescue people trapped in cars.
Plus you can dunk a firefighter with water balloons, go in a ‘ghost house’, ride a merry-go-round and enjoy a barbecue.
Station clerk Debbie Allan said: “Any profits raised will be going towards The Firefighters Charity and other local charities.”
