IF you’ve ever wanted to become a mini retail magnate, now’s your chance.
You could become a retail trustee and help control the seven charity shops of the Berkhamsted-based Hospice of St Francis.
You would be joining 13 others on the Board of Trustees, who advise managers.
Dr Ros Taylor, hospice director, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to make a huge difference to a local cause.
“Our board is interested to hear from anyone with substantial current or recent senior retail expertise who might be interested in becoming a St Francis trustee.
“The right candidate would play a significant part in the success of our new retail strategy. All the trustees are volunteers and generously give their time.”
There are more than 150 staff and nearly 1000 volunteers at the hospice, which has shops in Berkhamsted, Hemel Hempstead, Kings Langley, Bovingdon, Chesham and St Albans.
