A petition of 31 signatures calling for a pothole-riddled road to be fixed once and for all has been delivered to roads bosses.
Campaigners say past repairs to Northchurch Lane, Ashley Green, were quick-fixes that soon fell apart in bad weather.
Spokesman Paul Coleman said the people who live there are ‘fed up with the appalling state of their road’.
He said: “It really is badly broken up. People regularly break their tyres in potholes.”
Neighbour Ruth Levene is pictured showing just how deep the potholes are.
But since the petition was sent to Bucks County Council, it has had the holes filled in.
Mr Coleman said: “It is somewhat better, but time will tell if it will be a lasting repair. I can categorically say Herts’ roads are better than Bucks’.”
