People across the borough will gather to pay their respects to fallen soldiers on Sunday (November 8).

The Royal British Legion parade will meet at the band stand on Marlowes, adjacent to Bank Court, at 10am before setting off on a march to the war memorial on St John’s Road, Boxmoor, at 10.20am where they will be welcombed by the Salvation Army’s brass band. There will be a poppy wreath-laying ceremony followed by a service in St John’s Church before the parade marches back to the town centre.
The Royal British Legion parade will commence from outside Porters restaurant on the High Street at 2.30pm and finish at St Peter’s Church, where a poppy wreath will be laid.
The service inside the church will be from 3pm to 4pm.
The remembrance service at St Peter & St Paul’s Church on the High Street will begin at 10am, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at the war memorial.
