Sightings of a graffiti tag in Hemel Hempstead have prompted police to ask the public for their help in tracking down the culprit.
According to police the tag has been sprayed or written on a number of properties and items of street furniture across western parts of Hemel Hempstead in recent weeks.
One incident involved the offender spray-painting the word onto a fence belonging to a home in Hawthorn Lane sometime between August 27 and September 4.
Anyone with information about these incidents or other cases of vandalism is being asked to contact the police via non-emergency number 101, or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Immediate action had to be taken earlier this year when an unknown culprit painted an obscene word in large letters across Collett Road in Hemel Hempstead. The four-letter word was written in white paint and sprayed across the width of the road prompting highways workers to take immediate action.
