Council housing chiefs are inviting their tenants and leaseholders to say what they find most important about their properties.
Dacorum Borough Council bosses want to know whether it’s repairs and maintenance, estate management, improving the local environment or an entirely separate concern.
A roadshow will be held at Berkhamsted Civic Centre on Saturday (December 11) from 8am to 4pm.
Margaret Griffiths, housing chief at Dacorum Borough Council, said: “We hope to get a better insight into how people want us to prioritise what we spend our money on.”
Householders can take part in a survey at the event for the chance to win a Christmas hamper donated by the council’s housing contractors Mitie and Apollo.
Peoples’ views will be turned into a ‘Housing Offers’ document that will become a formal pledge in April 2011.
You can download a copy of the survey from the council’s website www.dacorum.gov.uk/housingsurvey.
There will also be a Hemel Hempstead roadshow outside the Marlowes Centre North Doors on December 18.
