The man accused of murdering Hemel woman Nicola Cross has appeared at Luton Crown Court.
Marcin Porczynski, 23, of Claymore, Hemel Hempstead, appeared via video link from Bedford Prison. He was charged with murder, two counts of kidnap and trespass with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm.
Porczynski was arrested shortly after the stabbing on Monday night, when Mrs Cross was found in her home in Dunlin Road, Grovehill.
He has been remanded to appear for a plea and case management hearing at St Albans Crown Court on December 4.
Porczynski’s trial is due to begin in March next year.
