MOTORISTS caught by the Moor End Road traffic camera are due to start receiving letters about refunds by the end of the week.

Herts County Council expects to have letters sent out to around 35,000 drivers by the end of August.

It could potentially cost £1.26 million of taxpayers’ cash to refund all the tickets after the camera was ruled unlawful.

Unclaimed fines will be handed to the Hospice of St Francis.
