The original bassist of The Jam will be playing at the Waterside Theatre in Aylesbury later this month.
The theatre is the first stop on From The Jam’s four date tour which sees the group performing classic hits ‘Going Underground’ and ‘A Town Called Malice.’
The group includes Bruce Foxton, the bassist in the original line-up.
From The Jam are performing at the theatre on Thursday January 22 and will be joined for their concerts by blues group Nine Below Zero who celebrated their 35th anniversary last year.
The band’s original line-up - Paul Weller, Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler - played at Civic Centre, the home of Friars Aylesbury Club in November 1977, November 1979 and August 1980.
The Jam were inducted into the Friars Heroes Hall of Fame in 2009 and Paul Weller was inducted in 2010, the same year that he played the last event at the Civic Centre ahead of its demolition.
