A support group for sufferers of a rare autoimmune condition will hold its second fundraising coffee morning next weekend.
The Sjogren’s syndrome group will meet at Hemel Hempstead Methodist Church on Marlowes on Saturday, July 13 at 10am. There will be a raffle and bring and buy table to raise money for the charity British Sjogren’s Syndrome Association.
Lucille Thomas, who has the little-known illness which causes fatigue and muscle pain, said: “This is another opportunity for sufferers to meet and support each other and also to share information and advice.
“The last meeting was very well attended and we are hoping to reach even more people suffering from this disabling and distressing illness. We look forward to seeing as many as possible.”
