Those living near the Warner Bros Studios in Leavesden may hear the sound of gunfire over the weekend – but don’t be alarmed, it’s all for a new film.
Filming has been taking place earlier this week at the site where the Harry Potter books were adapted for the big screen, but proposed shoots on Monday and Tuesday of next week have now each been brought forward a day.
Today it was announced the filming will now take place between 7pm and 5am on Sunday and Monday.
Residents close to the studios have been warned of high-level film lighting, smoke, gunshots and general production filming noises, while large fire and flame effects will also be used throughout the night shoots.
The authorities have been told of the plans and Three Rivers District Council has notified those living in the area.
