Further arrest after dad of four stabbed in Hemel town centre alleyway attack

A further arrest has been made in connection with a Hemel Hempstead alleyway robbery.

A 23-year-old man from Hemel Hempstead and a 24-year-old man of no fixed abode had been arrested and police bailed after the town centre attack, in which a father of four was left with minor stab wounds to his hand and torso, but the two men have been released without further action.

Another person has since been arrested in connection with the incident and is due to answer police bail on Monday.

The attack on 47-year-old Gary Allwood in the alley leading from Marlowes towards Asda happened at around 3.20pm on Sunday, December 1.
