Fire crews tackle Tring blaze inside lorry carrying two tonnes of paper

A fire which started in the back of a 7.5 tonne lorry was dealt with by firefighters in Tring this afternoon.

A retained crew from Berkhamsted rushed to the scene of the blaze in Station Road. The vehicle was thought to be carrying two tonnes of paper.

The call came in at 2.59pm and the scene was made safe by 3.30pm. The fire is believed to have been caused accidentally and no-one was hurt.
