SCHOOLCHILDREN enjoyed a visit from some rather unusual guests.

The Mighty Zulu Nation Theatre Company taught them traditional singing and dancing from the kingdom of Kwa-Zulu Natal, home of the Zulu Nation.

The performers, all natives of the South African region, taught youngsters from Swing Gate First and Nursery School how the two countries differ.

Headteacher Rosie Dunmar said: “It excites the children and it’s a great window into different cultures.”

Children at the school Swing Gate Lane, Berkhamsted, are studying Africa this term. They have strong links to OMBO Primary School in Kenya.
