Calling young performers for Pepper Show

YOUNG people with a passion for music can try out for the area’s biggest fundraising rock musical.

Auditions for The Pepper Show are being held on Thursday, March 24 at Ashlyns School, Chesham Road, Berkhamsted.

The producers are searching for young people aged between eight and 18 who have a yearning to perform on stage in front of more than 3,000 people.

Musical director Robert Breakwell said: “We hope to discover some new local talent this year and feel certain there are youngsters out there who may be suitable.

“Pepper has a great reputation for helping their talents and being in the show is a terrific experience.

“If you think you have what it takes or if you know someone who has, please get in touch with us.”

The 23rd annual Pepper Show will take place in Berkhamsted in July and raises funds for nurses who provide care for seriously ill children.

To attend the auditions registration forms must be completed and returned beforehand. The closing date for this is Monday, February 28 and forms can be downloaded at, picked up from Berkhamsted Imaging Centre in High Street or by calling 0845 675 5566.
