Derelict farmhouse blaze causes rush hour road closure in Tring

A road was closed in Tring during rush hour this morning after a fire at an abandoned farmhouse.

Four fire crews tackled the blaze in Bulbourne Road at around 7.45am, with engines arriving from Tring, Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted and Buckinghamshire.

Police were forced to close the road and divert traffic as a result of thick smoke coming from the derelict building.

Nobody was injured in the blaze and the road was reopened shortly after 9am.
