A MISSING girl is thought to be making her way to Hemel Hempstead from her home in Lancashire.
Sophie Edes, aged 15, was last seen at her home in Oswaldtwistle on Tuesday.
Det Chief Insp Dean Holden with the county’s police force said: “Sophie is vulnerable due to her age and we are concerned for her welfare.
“She also has behavioural issues that increase her vulnerability and can potentially pose a risk to other children.
“Sophie is fixated by babies and may tell people she is pregnant, which she is not.
“It is highly likely that she will be trying to get down to Hemel Hempstead where she has family.”
“I urge people to report any sightings of her by dialling 999.”
Sophie is around 5ft 7in tall, slim, with shoulder length dyed red hair and was last seen wearing a black jumper.
