Come along to Berkhamsted dance-a-thon and help promote awareness of cancer

A dance-a-thon will be held at Berkhamsted’s Espinosa Chute Centre in Northbridge Road on Saturday.

There will be zumba from 10am and 12.30pm, kids’ street dance from 11am and adults’ salsa from 1.30pm. All sessions are 45 minutes and cost £6.

There will also be a glitter ball, balloons, disco lights, cake sale and raffle.

Proceeds will go to the Peter Andre Foundation, which helps promote awareness of cancer.

The event is being organised by Laura Hockley-Grace and Lisa Sproat.

Lisa said: “It’s aimed at anybody and it’s to try and get people together to have a bit of fun. It’s going to be like a big party.

“You do not have to worry if you have never done zumba before, never danced before or if you are out of shape.

“It’s just going to be a great laugh and get-together and if you can’t dance, just eat some cake.”

Lisa has asked that people register in advance if they know they are going to turn up, as only 50 people can be accepted into each dance session.
