TWO churchgoers have just returned from the Nepalese home for 30 disabled children that they are raising money for this year.

The Petertide Fair at St Peter’s Church in Berkhamsted High Street on Saturday, June 16, will raise cash for Iain Rennie Hospice at Home, Tring, and the NewLife Centre.

The centre is in Kathmandu, Nepal, and its share of the cash will provide the 30 youngsters with equipment, education and medical supplies.

Stephen and Kathie Lally, who went there, said children there often suffer abuse, disease, untreated burns and abandonment on city streets before arriving at the centre.
