A marketing manager has completed her first skydive and raised more than £1,500 for Keech Hospice Care as reward for her high-altitude pluck.
Charlie O’Brien, 27, chose the good cause because it is the charity the firm she works for – Pictons – is backing for the year.
She said: “It was a big challenge for me, not only to do the skydive but also to raise funds for Keech. I aimed for £300 but people were so generous that my final total topped £1,600.
“It was certainly a challenge but nothing compared to what the patients and staff go through at Keech on a daily basis.”
The law firm, which has offices in Hemel Hempstead, Tring and elsewhere in Bucks and Beds, has so far raised more than £3,000 for the charity.
