Open pupils’ eyes

EMPLOYERS willing to offer a week’s work experience to school pupils are being sought by Dacorum Borough Council.

The work experience placements will be for pupils aged 15-16 and take place during February 2012.

The council reckons there are many benefits to employers from taking part, including enhancing corporate social responsibility and profile within the local community.

Taking in young people also gives companies the chance to reinforce good health and safety practices. It also helps develop new ways to recruit employees and influences the quality of the next generation of workers.

Students have the chance to get access to a range of opportunities and workplaces.
