A TOWN centre restaurant is on the verge of opening to the public.
It will replace the former Eat Fish eatery, which went into administration in December 2010 and closed not long after that.
The Berkhamsted High Street unit was empty for months until Italian food chain Villagio took over it.
Its bosses have been refitting the unit for a long time - but are now on the verge of opening their new restaurant. A meal for a child under 10 will cost just £3.95 there.
Villagio already runs two restaurants - in Hammersmith and in Barnet, both London.
The new restaurant will have an outdoor eating area too.
