THE deadline for applications for a £32,500 MBA programme scholarship at Ashridge Business School is only days away.
By Tuesday, July 31, applicants must complete an MBA application form and create a PowerPoint slide that describes their skills and how they would add value to an Ashridge MBA programme.
Ashridge and a national newspaper are jointly offering the scholarship for a place on an MBA programme – either the one-year full-time or two-year Executive MBA – that commences on September 20 this year.
There is then a shortlisting procedure including a group exercise to discuss a topic on the subject of management, sustainability or leadership, and a 10-minute individual presentation.
Finalists will be notified after this meeting and invited to a one-hour interview and to complete Ashridge admissions tests.
Ashridge Business School has redesigned its MBA, providing a choice of start dates, a mix of full and part-time students and extensive business involvement to meet the current and future needs of managers who want to flourish in global business. The curriculum is based around four key themes – leading change, creating value, embedding sustainability and managing globally.
Dr Narendra Laljani, Dean of Graduate Studies at Ashridge, said: “We have over 50 years’ experience of working with major international organisations and we are drawing on this heritage – the new MBA is academically robust but focused on practically helping address the complex challenges facing managers and organisations around the world.”
The MBA application form and entry criteria are published at www.ashridge.org.uk/mba and scholarship applications must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
