A market that proved a hit for shoppers at its debut event will be open for business again on Saturday.
There were 16 stalls at the first Great Gaddesden Market last month and traders will be turning out again this weekend. Organiser Sarah-Jane Green, who sells recycled lamps and lampshades, said: “Great Gaddesden has lost its pub and many moons ago we had a shop but now we don’t really have anything other than the church that is for the community.
“Also there are so many people that have such great talents but maybe they are not a big enough business to have a shop or premises.
“It is also a community event for people in the village to come along and have a cup of tea.”
The market will be at the parish hall in Dagnall Road, from 9am to midday.
