A CHARITY event held in a brewery raised £800 for the Mayor’s Charity in Tring.

40 people attended the special tour at Tring Brewery on Friday December 10, with the money raised going to the Douglas Bader foundation and the Pepper foundation.

The generous donors were given a full in depth tour of the brewery by founder Richard Shardlow, and were shown how the beer is made and allowed to sample some of the brewery’s ales.

Mayor of Tring Roxanne Ransley said: “It was a very good night and I’m already being asked when I’m going to do another one.”
