A plaque dedicated to murdered Billy Dove was unveiled at a children’s adventure playground after a memorial set up in his memory donated cash for new equipment.
The Billy Dove Memorial Fund has granted money to all four of the Dacorum Borough Council-run playgrounds in Adeyfield, Chaulden, Grovehill and Bennetts End.
To acknowledge the donation plaques headlined Truly Loved, Never Forgotten have been put up at the four sites.
On Friday, the plaque at Adeyfield’s adventure playground was unveiled by Billy’s family.
They decided to pledge the money as part of their work to support local young people and Billy, who died after being stabbed in Hemel Hempstead’s town centre in 2011, attended the Chaulden venue as a child.
