A tennis instructor will play non-stop for 12 hours and a tennis ball signed by Rafael Nadal will be auctioned off during a charity fundraiser on Sunday.

Nick Brooks, 23, will play from 6am to 6pm at the Berkhamsted Lawn and Squash Rackets Club in Broadwater to support the the Jennifer Trust for Spinal Muscular Atrophy. His sister Anna, 19, suffers from the condition and is wheelchair-bound.

Nick, pictured left with Anna, said: “The money will go into trying to find a cure, because there isn’t one at the moment.”

The club will also have an open on Sunday from 11am to 3pm, where there will be activities including a contest to find out who can hit the fastest serve.

You can sponsor Nick at or during the open day itself.
