A GOLF day is being held on Wednesday to remember mum-of-one Sue Robson, who died from brain cancer in February last year.
The event at Berkhamsted Golf Course will raise cash for The Hospice of St Francis in Northchurch, which cared for Sue while she had the tumour.
Sue, 50, set up firm Professional Insurance Advisers, and the event marks its 20th anniversary.
Husband Alan, 55, of Two Dells Lane, Ashley Green, now runs it. He said: “Sue was forthright, outgoing and very, very competitive.
“She worked for 10 hours a day, five days a week.
“Within three weeks of her brain surgery, she was back out, playing golf – and for at least three years she fought off the cancer.”
Their son Chris, now 21, went to Berkhamsted School.
