A charity has announced that 66 pets and their owners took part in its Ashridge Dog Walk on Sunday.
The fundraising event raised thousands of pounds for the Gaddesden Place Riding for the Disabled Centre, based in Red Lion Lane, Briden’s Camp.
Treasurer for the charity Rob Jennings said participants could either tackle a six-mile route through woods and meadows or a wheelchair-friendly trail near the Ashridge Visitor Centre.
He said: “All dogs received a rosette and goody bag for completing the walk and owners had a very enjoyable walk followed by refreshments provided by the charity.”
Gaddesden Place Riding for the Disabled Centre provides pony-riding instruction to disabled people in the Dacorum area.
