Customers at Asda’s Hemel Hempstead branch are being asked to nominate a local charity they think deserves to benefit from its Christmas appeal this year.
For three weeks, the supermarket will support three different charities – one a week – along the themes of kids, warmth and food poverty as part of their Give A Gift appeal.
This means any charity benefiting children, the homeless or those in food poverty is eligible for nomination.
To suggest a charity, go to the store’s community life noticeboard or ask for store community champion Sue Eagles.
The voting closes tonight, and the chosen charities will be announced in December.
