Air ambulance called to aid of ‘violently ill’ man in Grovehill

The air ambulance responded to a man, aged in his 30s, who had become violently ill this morning.

A land ambulance was also sent to the Grovehill patient’s home just before 11.30am and the emergency chopper, which was in the area at the time of the call-out, landed on school playing fields.

The man, who was suffering from vomiting along with other symptoms, was taken to Watford General Hospital for further assessment. His condition was described by paramedics as ‘not life threatening’.
